        Hess 1990 Hess Tanker Truck A powerful melding of design and construction, including a return to the split-windshield style cab, this Hess Tanker ranks among the finest releases in the line. Bold green striping traverses the length of the nearly all-white tanker, but the sharp design isn't all that's going on here. This tanker also has thirty-four running lights, plus the headlights and taillights, and a cool new sound feature: a three-way switch to activate the horn or backup alert.

        We recently purchased an estate of G scale model trains and included was a collection of Hess Trucks. While there is not a particular scale associated with this brand, they are a highly collectible item and if not purchasing to collect, some would actually fit well as scenery items on a model train or slot car layout.

        All HESS trucks we have listed on our site are “New Old Stock” meaning that they include all original packaging and literature, and the item shows no evidence of ever being run or used beyond storage. New Old Stock packaging will usually show signs of shelf storage, but the contents will be in excellent condition. All of our HESS truck boxes have been opened in order to inspect for any corroded battery compartments in both the main vehicles as well as any secondary or accessory vehicles which may be part of the HESS product.
