        Hess 1995 Hess Toy Truck and Helicopter This return to the two-toys-in-one theme brings with it another milestone: the first aerial vehicle in the Hess Toy Truck Fleet! A bold tractor-flatbed trailer combo custom designed for its cargo: a six-and-three-quarter inch helicopter with a red single-blade rotor that whirls at the press of a button or flick of a switch, a moveable front-mounted searchlight, flashing lights, and a rear spinning rotor on the tail and recessed wheels in the landing gear. The fourteen-and-a-half-inch truck has twenty lights in the cab alone, and the trailer, which also acts as a landing pad, has a hidden slide-out ramp and perfectly calibrated bed indentations to ensure the chopper has a smooth ride during ground transport.

        We recently purchased an estate of G scale model trains and included was a collection of Hess Trucks. While there is not a particular scale associated with this brand, they are a highly collectible item and if not purchasing to collect, some would actually fit well as scenery items on a model train or slot car layout.

        All HESS trucks we have listed on our site are “New Old Stock” meaning that they include all original packaging and literature, and the item shows no evidence of ever being run or used beyond storage. New Old Stock packaging will usually show signs of shelf storage, but the contents will be in excellent condition. All of our HESS truck boxes have been opened in order to inspect for any corroded battery compartments in both the main vehicles as well as any secondary or accessory vehicles which may be part of the HESS product.
