        TEK-Slots Solo Switchbox - Please note - this is an aftermarket unit, once you open up your CU and install this on your track, you void the warranty on your CU.

        If you have a Carrera Digital Race track (or purchase the digital components) you can now change between Carrera's Digital and Analog 124/132 Scale Track Systems with the filp of a switch!  No need to chip your old analog cars, change out controllers, transformers or power bases in order to race both.  Install the Tek-Slots Switchbox on your existing Control Unit and you are set.  This unit will have the same functions when running digitally as your Control Unit, 30352, or when running Analog with your Connecting Section, 20515.

        The Solo Switchbox is only recommended for the hobbyist who has expereience and confidence in soldering and electronics to modify their own Control Unit to work with the dual mode Switchbox.  WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNIT TO BEGINNERS OR CUSTOMERS WITHOUT THE SKILLS MENTIONED ABOVE.  Each Solo Switchbox is tested prior to shipment so it is recommended that you also test your CU before installing this unit to make sure it is also fully functional.

        The Gen2 Switchbox includes the necessary components and harness to connect to the Carrera 30352 Control Unit.


        Features:
        • Allows you to run both digital and analog cars on the same layout, just flip the switch to change modes. 
        • The Carrera Digital Wired or Wireless Controllers will work for both Digital and Analog Mode so you will not need 2 different sets of controllers for each mode.
        • No need to have 2 separate layouts or to spend time switching bases and controllers.  Add that extra track to your main layout to make a MEGA track!
        • No more chipping your old analog cars just to race them on your digital track.  Keep them analog, flip the track switch, and race them when you want.
        • When in Analog Mode, you will be able to race 1 Analog Car per lane for a total of 2 Racers on the track at once
        • When in Digital Mode, all features that are available on the Control Unit 30352 will remain the same:
          • Race up to 6 - 1/32 cars on 2 lanes or 4 -1/24 Scale cars
          • Race with a Ghost Car and/or a Pace Car
          • Adjust Braking Sensitivity
          • Adjust Speed Levels
          • Lane Changing
          • Monitor and Regulate Fuel Loads
          • View Lap and Timing Information

        These units are tested before they are shipped, please be aware that since this is an aftermarket item and you will be opening the Control Unit to install,  the 1 year manufacturer's warranty on your Control Unit would be voided.  Please verify that your CU is fully functional before trying to install this unit.


        **If you have a 4 lane track, it is currently not possible to use a Tek-Slots box on your track.**


        ***The TEK-Slots DualMode Switchbox has been tested using multiple stock Carrera digital accessories, (Pit Lane, Driver Display, Position Tower, Start Light, Lap Counter, Lane Changers (EXCEPT LANE CHANGE CURVES)). These parts are all reverse polarity protected, so if a reverse polarity voltage is applied, they essentially block the current flow to these accessories and they appear to be powered off and protected.
        We cannot test every other manufacturerÂ’s accessories or custom built items that a customer may have installed. If they are polarity sensitive, they must be removed from the track prior to converting to DualMode. This responsibility lies with the customer to know their track components and specifications.

        ***The jumpers on Carrera's lane change curve sections will need to be removed to isolate those rails.  Also, it is not recommended that you use this box if you have the anti-collision lane gates installed in your track.

        At this time it is not recommended to tune tires with a Tek-Slots Unit, or run any cars that have aftermarket accessories with the Tek-Slots Unit  (such as high performance motors).  Doing this can cause too much of a power draw on the track which will harm the Tek-Slots unit and void any warranty.  At this time it is best to run stock digital or analog cars on your track to ensure all systems run smoothly and as intended.


        Please note, if you are interested in purchasing the Chaos Box or Analog Counter/Timer option, please contact TEK-Slots directly to perform the additional customization and let them know Carrera Slots sent you.   Either option would otherwise require sending your unit (Solo Box and CU) to TEK-Slots at your expense.
